Weak gravitational lensing by the Universe’s large-scale structures, measured from galaxy and CMB surveys, is a potentially powerful cosmological probe, with current and upcoming experiments promising percent-level constraints on the amplitude of matter clustering, and few meV constraints on the sum of neutrino masses.
This meeting will bring together experts in both cosmic shear and CMB lensing who can openly share the key challenges faced in their cosmological analyses, enable in-depth discussion of the key systematic challenges for both fields, and encourage engagement between the two fields.
This workshop will be held from July 5th-8th, 2022 at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology (CTC) at DAMTP in Cambridge. The meeting will be separated into themed half-day sessions, which will include short talks and longer structured discussion sessions. The workshop is jointly funded by CTC, the Kavli Institute for Cosmology (both at the University of Cambridge), and the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
Cambridge venue
The conference venue is the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, home of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics since 2000. With excellent facilities and transport connections, the CMS is an outstanding conference location.
